Fringe Necklace

Its origins can be traced back to the Egyptian broad collar, also known as the “wesekh,” which first emerged around the 3rd millennium B.C., and was later popularized by the Greek and Minoan jewelers. In recent times, the fringe necklace achieved high popularity during the 1950s, and continues to be a staple on the market today.
Contemporary styles feature ‘fringe’ made of thread, leather and chains.
